Her next move was into science fiction and portrayed the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. Her biggest break occurred later that year as she joined the ensemble of the hit NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. As part of the show, she captivated audiences for three years up to 1996.
